Where is everyone going to these days. Glen's is so empty, people are just not attending the new location.
Yes I know that I am plugging it again but I do feel for the guys who moved Glen's from Peckham up to Stoke Newington.
Come on folks, Fifi and the guys moved back to north London because of people saying that they did'nt want to travel to Peckham in south London and yet they still can't keep the people happy.
Please, can someone tell me where else is everyone going to apart from Oops.
I can't help but feel sorry for the management of Glenns nite club. If I am right, I heard the place was always empty while they were down in Peckham. Maybe Glenns has lost its touch with the customers and that is why people are turning their backs on them. My little business knowledge tells me that when you begin to see such signs, then its about time management starts thinking about new innovations to revamp the business and attract their customers back. Otherwise they should count themselves as 'we were some' syndrome which tends to happen to alot of business which lack the foresight to compete in this modern, sophisticated and trendy entertainment market.

I used to attend the club in Peckham and it was a bit slow at picking up to start with but by the time that it did pick up to a reasonable crowd of people, it was moved.
The new location has now got new management/partners, so hopefully it will get back on track. I moved to Brixton last year and traveling up to Stoke Newington isn't a problem, just the return trip is quite long. I only go to Glen's once a month now, instead of weekly, mainly because the atmostphere is not as good as it used to be when it was in Tottenham. Those were the days when people used to wait outside for 10 minutes in the queue before getting in.
up to date info. I went to Glen's on Saturday night and it was busy, there wasn't much room to dance on ( I like my space). So people are returning, which is great.
