I beg to differ but HOT97UK FM is one of the best African radio sations in the UK in terms of it's broad appeal to all the cross sections of the Ghanaian community in the South East and also the quality of their programmes are unparalleled so give credit where credit is due and stop whinning.
HOT FM, keep up with the good work and don't allow yourselves to be distracted by cheap comments like those above.
I personally think hot97 is cool. They cut across all race in the Ghanaian community. They are unbiased and very pleasant DJs. Congratulations and keep up the good work you've started in most of our languages. Unlike the other stations where just Twi is the order of the day

I personally think that it is people like Betty Boop who give Akans a bad name. One thing HE or She fail to realise is that all this stations are operated by Akans and do their best to cater for all Ghanaians. Even OBE Television is operated by Akans. If she wants to help diversify programmes on the radio station, I think she can put in a offer to the management of Hot97 to front a show from her ethnic background whatever that may be rather than insulting a bunch of guys who are volunteering to bring us Up to date news from Ghana on a daily basis and also I take this oppotunity to thank them for thier great job they did during the Ghana eletions period Kudos to them All.......
Well, it will be better if listeners of Hot97 fm, leave this sad fellow alone, he or she may not be normal. It will be better for the author to get some sort of life.
BETTY, really i was surprised and appaled when i read ur comment about hotfm being baised and racist. C'mon galfriend, u knw datz not true. they make sure to cater for almost, if not all, ghanaians needs and i personally think they must be praised. i quiet rememba one tyme when Alordia was hostin one of his programmes he was speakin Ga and cos i dnt understand it, i kald and asked him if he could plz speak in Twi. his answer was " am sry but i cant do dat cos the same way u dnt understand the Ga, datz the same way someone doesnt understand the Twi". i mean dat was a very sensible answer and i really respect him 4 dat. they tryin 2 satisfy every Ghanaian listener, and u knw perfectly well how difficult it is 2 please 2 people at the same tyme not to talk of hundreds and thousands of people. GO ON, CUT THEM SOME SLACK. They sacrificing, so we must also show appreciation and gratitude. Hope u tk ma advice, Betty, cos its full of wisdom (hahahahahaha). but seriously, think about it.
