I was at home yesterday and decided to listen to the show for the first time....your presenter is very Rude and will not allow other to make their point....the basic rules for this kind of show is allowing other's to share their views....if you can control your temper then please allow other's to do the show...it was so bad Van Dyke has to call in to advise the presenter...that tell you how bad it is....Please listen to Ghanaian show and you will see that what you are going via is not bad...we are in a free country.....
I do agree with the first writer on the issue of the attitude of the morning breakfast show presenter. He is so rude and would not let people finish their comments. Does it matter to have hundreds of people phoning in and not having conclusive points made? Its better to have a few people calling and make meaningful contributions to the programme. Who put him there? Anyway Ghanaians don't want criticism, all they want is " you are doing a great job, keep it up". No when something or somebody is not doing well, it does not matter if he is paid to be on radio or not, we will talk about this issues. God help Ghanaians.
You guys are rite...that day he looks like he was doing a PR for Nana Akufo Addo..he actually mention his name about 8 times within a space of 6 mins( althoug the programm was not about him)....i like his show but his producer needs to work hard,am currently working for the BBC and will be willing to assist him with some fews editorial advise...
oh give me a break. You people always have a problem with every single presenter hosting the morning show. Same thing happened and forced Godfather to quit. what else do you want. Why don't you leave your jobs and host the show yourselves. am not condoning with his mistake but you have to understand the guy is working with limited logistics and support. All we do is seat in our homes and criticise. if you know better go do the show by yourselves. Idiots
Cheers for that. we sit here in england with hot fm bringing us all the news and more, but yet still some people are not happy. what should other african nationals say since they have nothing like what we have. The host is doing a great job so leave him alone better still tune off if you dont like it!
You guys should that ..some of us can not drive but when you sit in a car/bus and the driver is not driving well..u can see with your eye,
We need to debate this topic and share ideas..if the show presenter does not allow people to share their view and cut them off because they are supporting a particular candidates. .then he is wrong and should not be presenting...That day as Kojo Boateng said ..he mention Nana Addo name and even said he call's him everyday...( the question is ? WHAT FOR)
He has to be fair as the basic rule of Broadcasting is to Educate-Entertain and Inform
He is doing a great job and my simple advise to him is to keep his head down and be fair
Nobody is bearing a grudge against anybody, we all want hotfm to get better, so if someone is getting out of order, it just fair to correct him/her or share your view on that. They are doing a great job taking into consideration that, its a voluntary job, But they dont have to always remind us that, anytime they get corrected on an issue, there are standard procedure and ethics set for everything. Arrogance and Pompousity doesnt help in anyway, it just brings you down. I wish Hotfm all the best and hope they keep getting better and bigger. Long live HOTFM.
I like the debate here...we all need to dicuss and help build Hot FM..that is the only station we have..the presenter is doing well, he should be fair and allow his listener to do the talking...Being Fair is not a CRIME in the UK
May be he should listen and watch NEWSNIGHT on BBC 2
