I have been going to the new venue recently but have been disappointed, because the club closes early due to the lack of customers. What happened to the crowds that used to travel far and wide to attend the club when it was in Tottenham. Where is eveyone disappearing too. I know that it is'nt Ooops because I have been going there as well.
KATHY, I WILL TELL YOU WHY. UNTILL THEY KICK THAT AROGANT GHANAIAN GUY WITH THAT "THING" ON HIS HEAD FROM THE GATE, THE CLUB WILL ALWAYS BE EMPTY. MARK MY WORD. AFTER ALL THE MUSIC IS GOOD, THE BAR TENDERS ARE BRILLIANT BUT THAT SCUM HAS BEEN RUDE TO CUSTOMERS.
Thanks for the reply. I am lucky that I don't have any problems with anyone. I just say hi to everyone and enjoy the music. I will let Mike ( one of the managers ) have a copy of the email and that will explain why the club is sooooooooo empty.
I look forward to seeing you there, come and dance with me. I am the Scottish woman who loves Highlife music.
I am sorry that people are avoiding the club, just because of 1 person.
If there is a big issue with the doorman, why does'nt other people mention it to the managers. Like I said earlier, I don't have any problem with anyone at the club.
Come on everyone, get down to the club on a Friday / Saturday and enjoy yourself.
Face it dear, there comes a time when everything how great or big it is comes to an end. They have reached their sell-by-date. I used to patronise it when it was in Tottenham, but i vowed never to travel all the way to Peckham simply because the neighbourhood is very rough with all sorts of characters. Also the management should have thought about it before relocating to any area which is already full of well established niteclubs. I suggest they cut their losses and move back to somewhere which will attract their old customers back, otherwise it will always be empty. Thank you.
just to give you an update. The club is only open at the moment on a Saturday but it is getting quite full, thankfully not as jammed packed as it used to be in Tottenham but comfortable to dance without bumping into anyone and causing an arguement.
Peckham is not so bad, the club is by the main bus route, nobody will trouble you unless you trouble them.
